Is Britney’s Conservatorship Ending?
Looks like the answer is no, but things are really looking up for Britney.
Sources say Britney appeared in a Los Angeles court today—alone! This is really good news because under the conservatorship, she usually appears alongside her dad or her co-conservator and fiance, Jason Trawick. Although, Brit’s attorney says having them not present wasn’t a big deal because the meeting with the judge was just a review hearing.
Basically, the judge wanted to check in with Britney and see how she’s doing with the new X Factor gig and other things in her life. She reportedly told the judge that she’s enjoying the show and is looking forward to the live shows. (so are we!!!)
And it wouldn’t be your typical Britney tabloid story without a little scandal. Britney apparently wasn’t wearing her engagement ring. So of course, speculation started spreading. Both attorneys claim everything is OK and that there’s nothing going on with her engagement. Whew! :)
Britney’s scheduled to appear in court again on August 31.
Oh, and X Factor makes its big fall debut, September 12 at 8/7c on FOX!
